| It’s the first day of 2007 and what a better way to start it off by starting a new blog. Last year I set out to at some point to work for Disney, I can’t explain why, I just had this itch. So I did a contract as their props and puppet master, as well as a few others things on the side in their entertainment department. Disney cruise line was a lot more fun than I thought it would be, but I felt so disconnected from the outside world that it was beginning to affect me. I admit, I miss it a bit, but I don’t think it was enough for me to remain doing it long term. This year I want to get my ass back into school, and if things go well, begin saving for my dream loft. I’ve always wanted one of those open concept lofts, with the brick wall and large windows. I think I’ve finally reached the point where I want to take some animation classes. I don’t care what I have to do, I have all these ideas, stories and characters in my head that I need an outlet for them beyond the costumes I’ve built, and the small projects that seem to act more as temporary patches. I need something bigger than myself, something that won’t be forgotten. |
