Cows, Rabbits and Bears, OH MY!

Saturday was spent with friends visiting Granville Island. For those of you not from Vancouver, it’s like Connie Island; but instead of a fair, its filled with hippy shops and a little floating marine village. But don’t worry; they’re the trendy city hippies, not smelly country hippies. I could not help but take a liking to those floating homes. Might even consider buying something like that for myself come this fall.

One of my friends sensed my neurotic fascination with a stuffed bear I found in a toy store and ended buying him for me. I’ll admit it, I have a small collection of teddy bears, but they are all good quality ones. What can I say, i live alone and don't want a cat.

Today was spent at a country fair. A friend, Dan, wanted to see the rabbit show, and I figured it might be cool to see country folk in their natural habitat. It turns out they like 80’s music and livestock, go figure. If I could dress up like a cartoon cow, and get a piano guitar, I could really make a killing.
On a final not, I’m finally getting ready to start my web comic. I’ve started sketching a few ideas. Hopefully it will be one more step to becoming a better artist.

Nice bear. I see you went small rather than HUGE to add to the collection.

Still not the classic colors. ;)
