Jeremy! Master of the Universe!

Once again I’m in a situation where I got a kick ass job, and I can’t really blog about it. Back when I use to work for Disney, I found myself having to dance around the best part of my day and it drove me nuts.

So what am I doing now? I’m working for this kick ass props and special effects firm. Not a cg factory, but one that does old school, latex monsters and such. The company is called WCT productions. They seem to get some of the biggest feature films and television shows, so they must know what they are doing. I have to assume they are one of the bigger in western Canada. The warehouse is amazing, set up to build anything.

It’s too bad I intend on going into animation, because this job could have put me into a very kick ass position. But if things go well, it will give me a stable place to build some roots. And I'm sure ill learn tons.

Gay Pride Parade 2008

Sunday was spent downtown at the gay pride parade with Orwin and Claiton.
I have to admit, it has to be the most entertaining parades I have ever seen. It was about 180 to 190 floats; over 2 and half hours. I was even able to spot a few friends in it. And when it was over, you could follow the parade to giant party on the beach with promotional tents everywhere. Thought the highlight of the whole event was watching Love Inc. live on stage. I miss that group. I wish they would put out more work.

Anybody looking for pictures of the event, you can find them in my photo section located above this post on jeremymilne.com.
