My porch is going to be an orchard! Fruit for all!

I know this is lame, but I can't can't help but be amazed that I can grow anything at all with my thumb of death. For the holidays, Oliver got me soil, 2 planting pots and numerous fruits bought at the local market. Originally I figured that nothing would grow; who knows what they do with fruit to preserve it these day. But low and behold, 2 apple trees sprouted, followed by a kiwi and 2 lemon trees. I have no idea what I'm going to do when they get larger, but I have considered trimming some of them kind of like bonsai trees. Either way, fruit for all!
