One of the things I have regretted over the years is not taking enough pictures. So having bought a reasonably good camera, and no longer limited by the confines of a cheap automatic, I have decided to make sure my camera is with me at all times. I don't pretend to be a professional photographer, but if every year I get better than previous years, I'm assuming in time, I could get some really nice shots. And maybe, if i learn enough tricks, I'll have an excuse to get a really nice canon.
So Rosco, if you read this post, you need to show me a some of your camera Kung Fu.
Below are a few picture I was able to snap tonight while downtown near the harbor. Click to enlarge. Don't mind the scooter, I kind of always wanted a Vespa with a side car. If anybody needs to use these for anything, email me for the larges.
